Vacation Planning for Pet Owners. Your Pet’s Care While You’re Away from Home.
Leaving for vacation should be exciting — not stressful. But for pet parents, making sure
After graduating with my MBA from Willamette in 1990, it was time to go out and explore the world a bit. Moving to Southern California to join my not-yet-wife – who was stationed at Norton Air Force Base – we started what would turn out to be 13 years of experience around the US. My field was economics & management, but my computer science background gravitated me towards the technical aspects of my jobs right away.
From that point, jobs relocated us beyond Southern California to Philadelphia and then Atlanta. Although we gained many friends around the US and loved living in new places. When it came time to begin thinking of our daughter starting school, neither of us could quite imagine doing that anywhere but in Oregon. So we begin the search for that location that would take our daughter through her schooling, and on a trip back to Oregon in 2000, we both fell head-over-heels in love with Hood River and the Columbia Gorge. Shortly after that, we managed to make Hood River our home and we’ve never looked back.
The Gorge is my neighborhood and I can’t imagine it being anywhere else. Now don’t get me wrong – we still love to travel still. However, when the word “home” is mentioned, it’s the first thought we have. I’ve been lucky enough to spend my life since 2004 helping others make and find their homes in The Gorge and elsewhere too.
See you around the neighborhood!
